Field Effect Transistor

Hi,
How can I see if this effect transistor 2SK2605 works normally? should i test it just like the other transistors? you know a transistor has B C E , the 2SK2605 has Gate Drain Source.

Hi Mukhalled,
It is a high voltage and high power Mosfet, not a transistor. Its gate doesn't have a connection to its source and drain.
Look at its datasheet and read about how Mosfets work in our Articles section. ;D

You must turn it on to see if it works. Put a little 9V battery from its gate (+) to its source(-).
Then your ohm-meter should measure close to a short from its drain (+) to its source (-).
