Hi All I am trying wire this Finder Relay with a button for triggering an Off Delay for powering a 12v Laser. I have wired the button between A1 and B1, power is wired to A1 and A2 and finally the laser is wired to 15 and 16. With all of that wired I am still not getting any output when trying any of the different settings for the timer. What could be the issue with not getting anything out and do I have it wired correctly.

Thanks in Advance

If that is literally how you connected it, that can't work (a schematic showing your connections would be so much more helpful). connectors 15 and 16 are only the contacts of a relay. WIring a laser between two relay contacts does nothing. Where does the power supply go?

Here's how I think it should be done (lacking more information on the laser you use):

Here the timer will supply or interrupt power to the laser via the contacts on 15 and 16

Hi Harald,

Sorry forgot to include that. I am using a Quarton VLM-520-72-LPO this laser has a 2 wire input as the power delivery is taken care of inside the housing. I include the spec sheet for the laser. I have everything on the 12VDC side of the system as I am converting 120VAC to 12VDC before connecting in the button and timer.

Thanks,
MB

This laser has only two inputs: power "+" and power "-". It should be connected exactly as I show in the lower half of the image in post #2.
Conventionally you'd connect power "-" to laser "-". Then power "+" to the timer, e.g. pin 15. Then timer pin 16 to laser power "+".

That helped thank you so much I misunderstood the wiring schematic from Finder when originally wiring and with what you said that worked with getting it working on the timer. Now that it is working I can spend the fun time of testing and getting it set to the right time.

Thanks,
