Flow Chart Software? C Programming

Can anyone recommend some good software for creating flow charts?

Would be nice if there's one suited to C programming.

don't use flowcharts. User something which encourages good design.

I was taught structure diagrams about 35 years ago. I'm surprised anyone remembers (much less uses) flowcharts when writing software.

I've never heard of a structure diagram

Do you have any examples of one?

I'd like to adopt a professional planning method when writing my programs, instead of making it up as I go.

I use Inkscape (free) which is like photoshop and can be use for so many things including documentation. A very powerful tool.

I've used these two programs on and off to make flowcharts:

• Dia (Open source, cross platform)
• ClickCharts (Windows, kinda sucks but works)
