HAM radio operation

I recently purchased a pair of BAOFENG hand held transceivers. I have watched a half dozen YT videos but still have no idea as how to use my new radios. I am looking for personal tutelage or a site which does an in-depth explanation of my radios and how to use them.

That looks like my UV5Rs.
Very easy to use, but I don’t do HAM bands. Simply walkie talkies and all programmed for the PMR channels that are legal in the UK.

I have not used this kind of handsets.
Common ham handsets are from yeasu or icom.

that's the exception and is that way in most countries that have amateur radio,
else the licence requirement applies for normal amateur radio operations

How would you come to be in the posession of a Ham radio and the knowledge how to use it if you don't have a license in "normal" types ("normal" meaning not during an emergency).
