Happy Holidays, may your amplifiers provide gain and your oscillators start quickly

Happy new years to all of you and yours. May all of your amplifiers provide
gain (and not oscillate) and your oscillators start ( and not be
amplifiers)...

May your spice simulations converge, and all your impedances match........

Your biases may be PC correct if you are so inclined.

and its flu season so plenty of vodka with lemon

Cheers

As much as it pains me, given my obsession with finding an _added_
apostrophe in the possessive 'its', I must gig you one demerit for
actually omitting the apostrophe from the contraction, "it's," which
means "it is", which is clearly meant in this context.[0]
so plenty of vodka with lemon

Okay, half a demerit. ;-)

Cheers!

[0] Yes, I know you can figure it out from context. That doesn't make it
_right_!

Happy 7D5 to everyone! Unless, or course, you prefer gloom, in which
case I sincerely wish you an unhappy 7D5!

There is a newsgroup just for people like you,
alt.possessive.its.has.no.apostrophe.

Why don't you ever mention electronics? That's what *this* group is
about. Correcting peoples' grammar and spelling and punctuation is
just tedious here.

Unless it's criticizing Kevin... that's great fun ;-)

No. Kevin always says the same things, so the criticisms are always
the same, and it becomes ritual boredom. I don't even read the silly
evolution/free will/transistors-are-voltage-operated threads any more.

I do, when the topic is something I know anything about. :)

I'll bite (correct punctuation?)

What's "7D5" ?

This is Popek's question.

Yes.

What's "7D5" ?

2005 in hex. Also Y MMV in Roman.
This is Popek's question.

This is Woodgate's answer.

Not related to the original question but...

In RPG games and games like NetHack, it means '7 dice rolls of a 5-sided
dice'.
This would be a number from 7 (1+1+1+1+1+1+1) to 35 (5+5+5+5+5+5+5).

On-topic:

Maybe 7.5v Zener (sp?) diode? :p
