help......how to build line follower colour sensor

hai, i need some 1 that have any idea about how to build the line follwer colour sensor..... i need it to detect the white line and beside the white line are blue colour.....may u all help me??

If the white line is not much brighter than the blue floor then use a red filter over the photo-detector to block the blue light. White has lots of red.

the white colour is emulsion paint, the brighte white colour are not much...
when use the red fillter out the the blue colour from the blue LED transmit out mean that the photo detector will receive less light??

The blue floor reflects blue light.
The white line reflects all colours.
If you use a red filter over the photo-detector then it will be very sensitive to the red from the white line and not sensitive to the blue floor. Use a red LED, not a blue LED. Also don't use an ordinary white LED because it doesn't have any red.
