Hello all users,

I need some help in my project of UPS, i found some basic conecpt of UPS on NET, which is basically a 12 volts to 220/120 VAC Inverters, these types of circuits have a big problem with them, when a battery is fully charged, UPS give 220 VAC, after some time when Battery goes to its 50%, than UPS give 180-190 VAC, and when battery goes to it minimum, UPS give less than 160 VAC. So UPS is only efficient when battery is fully charged.

I found some ideas from net of UPS continuously giving 220 VAC till battery goes to 30-40%, but not find any circuit of that type of UPS.

Any circuit idea/schematic..........

Thanks,
masterleous

Hi,
You have to give some more info of what you are powering from this UPS. A standard SMPS PC PSU will have no problems with the voltage drop, some works from 96 to 275VAC. But it’s perhaps not a PC you like to run from the UPS. It might also be a problem caused by bad choice of battery types or size.
