Hello, I need help with a power supply I bought online.

I got a second-hand monitor without a power supply adapter. It's a product that's not in circulation, MIRO TD670, so I decided to buy a "rotary switch adaptor" with multiple plugs. The problem is that don't know which voltage is suitable to use. I have included the picture of both the power spec. for the monitor and the adaptor.

Thanks in anticipationIMG_20151223_150316.jpg IMG_20151223_150452.jpg

I think I found an answer. The 1000mA is just OK since the monitor requires 0.8A. Also, after several google search, it requires 12V. So I guess I just have to turn the key to 12V.

Since this is what I have deduced I would be happy if this can be confirmed before I do any damage.

Hello,
The monitor seems to need 100v or 240v AC.
Where did you see it works on 12v?

Thanks for your time.
I got this information on similar products and some random websites after through search.

http://www.amazon.de/Netzteil-Ladegerät-Miro-TD690-Bildschirm/dp/B00LEPRYF4/ref=sr_1_11/276-0201617-2941919?s=ce-de&ie=UTF8&qid=1450895905&sr=1-11&keywords=MIRO+TD

http://www.amazon.de/Danelo-Netztei...e=UTF8&qid=1450895905&sr=1-1&keywords=MIRO+TD

But since the monitor needs 100V or 240V AC like you mentions, the adaptor supplies the same. I was just confused on where to turn that yellow button.

Hmm, seems to be correct.
Although, I think it may be German. I don't speak German
May be our friend @Harald Kapp can help with this..
Lets see what he says..

Yes true,
But yours is TD670. The link is TD690. I probably agree that you are correct.
I just don't want to say so without real confirmation!
The label on the monitor does say 100-240v. If it was 12v, it would normally say so..

EDIT: Have you got a picture of the monitors power input jack?
Is it a 'purple' jack?

OK, that does look like you were correct all along. Sorry to question you! But we cannot trust what everybody says.:)
All you need to find out now is the polarity of the input..Centre pin positive or centre pin negative?
My guess is centre pin positive, however, it isn't always..

No, the questioning was good, it helped in figuring this out. Also it's a positive polarity.

Thanks it works.

Yes, and there should be a special torture developed for manufacturers that make the center pin negative. My personal favorite would be a nail gun applied to the family jewels!
