rotary switch help!!

new to this forum so hope somebody can help me! i have tried to find including alibaba .com a simple on/off rotary switch with to connectors on the back but it seems they are not made-does anyone know where i can get them? attached is the general spec i need

the digikey link above has over 1200 variations of rotary switch, surely you can find one to suit your needs

Following davenn's advice to you, I followed that link.

Then I typed in "rotary switch" and pressed enter.

Then I was given a list of possible categories. I clicked on "rotary" in the "switches" category.

The parametric display was shown.

First I selected No of positions = 2, and clicked on Apply filters

Then I clicked on Number of decks = 1 and clicked Apply filters. (I'm not sure exactly what decks are, but I assume it means layers of contacts, and you need only 1)

I then select SPDT (because there's no SPST)

I get a list of switches.

Look at them one by one, reading the datasheets (which will have dimensions). There are a number of very close matches for what you want I think.

Remember that if the shaft is too long you can cut it.

SPDT will have 3 connections on the bottom. You can ignore the one you don't need.
