    I was looking at different stepper motor controllers and I was thinking of making this one for a bench test controller. But I don't understand what the cmos dose.

Hi Gogo,
Your pic is too big, I reduced it.
The output voltage and current of the PIC is much more than the CD4050 and is more than enough to drive the darlington transistors. It can be replaced by four 560 ohm resistors.

Hi gogo,

Where did you find this circuit, does it come with the software? What is suppose to happen when you push the buttons?
