How to build a Hall Audio system!

Hi
I want to build a system for a big Hall. If I use a usual 2-Speaker cd-Players and at one end of the Hall, People dancing at the other end of hall, do not receive enough power.
What is the best topology to use. I mean How many speakers? Where to put them? and ...
(what Topology they use in discos to cover all people? this may can help me!!!)

Hi Shahriar,
The placement and quantity of speakers in a hall depends on the length, width and ceiling height.

Arenas and discos use directional speakers aimed at their nearby area so that distant areas don't hear an echo from them.
If the ceiling is high enough then many distributed speakers can be aimed straight down.
