well i am trying to get 80 mV first to come out of a battery even if i have to place a capacitor into the circuit. I know this is possible since it is only 80 mV so how hard can it be? I'm planning to use either a 1.5V or 9V batt.
What do you plan to use it for?
As many details as you have please.

What are the 80mV used for? Why the reference to 80mA in your other posts? Have you looked into voltage dividers, as suggested?

Arrgh, Gryd, you beat me just by seconds :)

Did you bother to read my post? What is the load that the 80mV will drive? This will determine how you can do this.

Yes of course i read it. The 80 mV is what i am needing which is equivalent to 0.08 V. It will just be a wave for now since i am just studying how to get a specific voltage output. I also have looked into voltage dividers and will try that. Cheers

Experienced designers might ask you what impedance level you need. But if all you give them is a blank stare, then they might ask how much current will be drawn from this voltage reference of 80 mV and how far can the voltage deviate over the current range. If you still have a quizzical look they might ask what you intend to use it for so they can guess at something that might be appropriate. But if there were still no response, I would take that as an opportunity to start charging you consulting fees by the hour!

Actually don't worry about it. I'll just study some more. I'm pretty sure there's a simple way of just getting 80 mV out of a 1.5 v Batt or more. Anyways, thanks everyone for giving feedback. Moderators, i would like this thread to be closed now please. Cheers
