hi

i want to make a T flip-flops with only discrete components no IC chips, i want to make something like this

http://www.facstaff.bucknell.edu/mastascu/elessonsHTML/Logic/Logic5.html

( the last one with 4 flip flops )

will that works if i use this bistable schematic?

http://es.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archivo:Biestable.png

i know it most be like 1 0 0 0, ( to start) but i dont understand how the "DELAY occurs" ?

i mean the first flip flop last 1 sec , the second flip flop last 2 sec, the thirt flip flop last 4 sec, and the fourth flip flop last 8 sec?
how it "delays" the time?

please help me! i like electronics and i want to learn more

This is the page you want.

I searched Google for "discrete clocked flip-flop circuit schematic" and it was the third hit I think.
