Hi

Can anyone suggest me a circuit for a 2 or 3 channel infra red remote control.I wanna make my AF Power Amp controlled with a remote.

I have got a circuit here

IC1 is a Op Amp - LM308
IC2 is some kind of tone decoder - LM567

For the very-low-input-bias-current LM308, use a TL071. It has a FET-input.
For the LM567 tone PPL/filter, use a high-Q bandpass filter circuit.

You can get the LM567 from Digikey (www.digikey.com) for 77 cents each. They have about 2500 of them in stock. Not exactly what I would call obsolete.
The LM308 was not a very good op-amp. That is why it is gone. You would have wanted to replace it with something better even if it was still available.
