I have offered to repair someones 12v to 240v inverter, i have discovered there is a transistor burnt out on the board but i cant for the life of me find a new one. i dont know much about electronics but here is what is written on the transistor; IRFP460 1 (diode symbol) R 538P GM 35.
i dont know what it means but can anybody point me in the right direction.
