To that, I would ask whether there might possibly be in the works a way
to display .op voltages of pre-selected nodes? Would be real handy to
have expected voltages on the schematic when I pass the printout over to
the lads in the tech department for prototyping.

After you do a .op and dismiss the output window, the
current, voltage, or power you point at with the mouse
will be on the status bar.

yes, but when we start the simulation there is a pop up menu for us
to choose which voltages and currents we want to draw. While this
dialog is displayed the status bar will not respond to the cursor.

Press esc, and then click on the nodes you want to plot. BTW,
you can name nodes by labeling them.
