LED flashing using 3volts battey

hi guys can anyone help me to build this project??

i need to create simple led blinker using 2 led bulbs or 4 like blinker in a police cars.

like this one



i want to know what materials or chip should i use?

pls help me.i need it for my project..:(

Check here. There's now a section on LED applications at the end which contains links to a heap of LED related circuits. You may find something there.

pls help me..

the link above is a sample only. i need to make 2 to 4 bulbs only for 3volts and small t o fit my project.pls guys help me...:(:(:(:(:(

Hi :)
The LM3909 is the chip for this job, it beats the 555 hollow on all fronts. It doesn't appear to be mentioned in the sticky though.
The LM3909 LED flasher/oscillator runs down to 1V supply, and will flash an LED for more than a year on a single dry cell. Check out the datasheet and application notes from National Semiconductor: http://www.datasheetcatalog.org/datasheets2/15/152834_1.pdf
