low pass or high pass filter

Please clarify whether the filter in the image file is high pass or low pass filter.
and help me How to find type of the filter circuit.

You can answer that for yourself:
Ask: what happens, if DC (=very, very, very low frequency) is applied? How do the capacitors behave, how the inductor?
Conversely: At very high frequencies, what is the impedance of the capacitors, what is the impedance of the inductor?
This will give you a basic answer.

For an exact answer you need to analyze the circuit and calculate the freqeuncy response. You will notice that there is a resonance (pole in the equation) due to the LC elements.

@vasanth: While doing the analysis as recommended in the previous post don´t forget that working filter circuits are connected to a
* source with a certain internal resistance (impedance?) , and
* to a load inpedance which processes the filtered signal.

Both impedances influences the filter characteristic.
