I was trying to test how low the Magellan GPS 315 could take before it powered off, and i accidentally set my power supply to 15 volts. It normally takes 3 volts, so i applied 5x the normal voltage. When i turn it on, the screen turns black. None of the buttons do anything and i cant turn it off without taking out the batteries. The battery terminals have 414 KΩ of resistance. I want to open it to be able to fix it but i cant find any way to get it open. there are no screws under any of the stickers and i can not get it open, although there is a seam across the entire edge of the GPS.
