I wonder if its a multistage compounding marx generator? It coming out in pulses, I was going to make one, but I just bought this for $2, and it actually worked amazingly.
So now I can test electrostatic actuators and speakers, and this spark gap transistor idea ive got!! Ill probably never finish it, but I was starting to get really good.
The output voltage might be different with a higher impedance probe to test the voltage.
To test high voltage with a good high voltage probe: https://www.tequipment.net/Fluke80K-40.html
The description of the voltage converter has such a bad translation that it makes no sense.
Your video shows the output being shorted which they say is not allowed.
Then you have damaged it.
Doesn't matter if you short a transformer or a capacitor as far as I know, not that I know exactly what's in the thing.
But the power supply screen went blank when i was running it, I dont know what happened there.
I was actually going to make it myself. (I have an original design for one.) But ended up being easier buying, I bought it for $5 the shipping was more than the product was, I wasnt even expecting to hit the door, but it did and it worked! so ill put the project on the shelf and get on with my electrostatic and spark gap stuff.
