MN1455LF IC Info?

I'm looking for any information I can find for an MN1455LF 40 pin IC. It's from a Marantz SR-8100 DC Receiver and I know that it probably has an internal clock of some kind, but otherwise, I can't find any info.

The service manual is too big to upload, but I've included part of the schematic for the receiver in case that helps. The IC in question is Q501 (Blue).

ISTR it may even be equivalent to the 8255 PIO device??? Could be wildly out - would need to do a pin-by-pin comparison to be certain.

Thanks, Kelly. I ran across the 1455B info at one point too, but wasn't sure if it would be close enough. I noticed the 1455 has 42 pins, while the 1455LF only has 40 and I'm trying to verify whether it's working properly

The 8255 is interesting though. I do remember reading something about the 1455LF running off of 5V (and maybe a lot of other IC's did too...). I'll start there and see if the pinout matches up

I had a vague recollection that I recovered some of the 1455 devices myself some years ago and discovered that they were the 8255 in disguise - but it wouldn't be wise to trust my memory these days!
