Perhaps for the same reason as all the other useful stuff was deleted; its copyrighted material!

We are not changing the material in any way. We are not charging a price to make money.All Datasheets are copy righted so why not delete the whole sections on Datasheets and Service Manuals. All are copy righted.
Why bother uploading any thing then !

We don't want the copyright police to come and shoot us or chop off our heads or whatever they do to copyright thieves.

We copy the stuff just to look at it and to discuss it, so I don't think they will come after us for that.

That’s right; why bother?

Copyright is all the same if you post a copy of a magazine, an E-book or a service manual and this is because someone loses money for each copy not sold! This is not a question about altering or changing the copyrighted stuff but making copies of it. Otherwise it would be OK to have a copy of windows or any application in your computer as long as you don’t change them!

Google is also full of copies of copyrighted material. Google makes a profit. Off with Google's head!

Datasheets which can be downloaded from manufacturers websites may of curse be ditributed! But, a service manual which sells for money is not allowed to be copied and distributed!

Well then I guess I break the Law by posting Service Manuals and this whole section should be Deleted.
