Need Help With Project - Electronics Novice

How's it going guys. My first post here, so bear with me.

I'm wondering if there is a good solution to my problem. I am trying to design the following system. I figured drawing it up would be the best way to show it.

Both of the "Boxes" shown are functionally the same.

Why not start by explaining the problem you have, not the solution that you don't have.
