Need help with voice playback module

Hi guys,

I've been looking for an off the shelf voice playback module that can be paused during playback. I've found many that will start and stop with one button, but they all restart at the beginning of the file rather than truly pausing the the playback, to resume at the same point.

Anyone know of sources that don't require extensive programming?

Over the counter cheap MP3 player use the pause button...

There are modules that will do it as well, but many of them use serial communications although some do use buttons but I don't have any particular one ready to recommend...

Yes, I could hack up a digital recorder, but am really looking for a simple digital (or analogue) recorder/playback module. Don't really even need record ability.
