Need some help with Basic Circuitry!!

Hey Guys,

I wanted to know if someone would be able to help me out. I have these 2 questions that I wanted to solve. It's been quite a few years since I have done any type of circuitry I wanted to see if someone can help refresh my memory. If you can explain how you got the answer it would be greatly appreciated.
