Can a parallel LC, buffered from an oscillator, be used to determine the frequency of an oscillator? A parallel LC has only one resonant frequency.

How good of an oscillator frequency measurement device can a parallel LC be? The peak voltage would occur at the resonant frequency. Is there an easy way to determine peak voltage?
