RCA Model 46GW700C
Made 1988
Part HV BLOCK (HV Splitter)

I need a part 2460183 which is in an HV BLOCK in an RCA PTV. This number
is printed on the part. It is probably a Hitachi number. I've been told
that this was superceeded by 2460187. The other numbers 191834 and 173494
may be compatible.

This is a HV BLOCK and had four threaded HV lead holders one from the
flyback and three to the picture tubes. There are THREE wires going to a
connector (marked with an O) that plugs into the main board. One appears
to be a ground lead, one is a signal line (xray?) and the third is a
shield for the signal line.

I thought that http://www.technotronic-dimensions.com/products3.html had
the right one and was not paying attention to the picture. He is offering
the incorrect one as it has a twist lock connector for the flyback and
three threaded connectors for the CRTs, there are two black wires but no
signal line and no connector.

I appreciate your time.

I cannot use an inaccurate substitute which is what appears to be commonly
available.

I am still searching for this part.

Thanks

You will likely continue to search without success.

Due to the set's age it is probable the part is no longer being produced by
the manufacturer or supplier.

He is not going to find one. Due to the age that is a high failure
part. Long since discontinued, more than 5 years. IT is highly
unlikely there will be any of those sets used available with a good HV
part to pull.
