PCB Cleaning

Just a quick question. I have a Williams pinball machine built in 1988. The PCB's are green and covered in dust and grim. I've read a 50/50 solution of White Viniger and water is the best to clean with, then rinse and let air dry.

Is this a good safe way to clean my PCB's?

I use disposed toothbrush and Joy Liquid Dish Cleaning Soap with water. Then use compressed air to drive out water from connectors or socket. Let it dry or use Hot Hair blower.
