Platform Project

Hello,

I want to build a circuit for security reasons.I have a platform and I dont want the platform to function when the weight reaches 3000Kg (including platform + cargo weight).I dont know what kind of sensor I should be using.I just want a circuit idea.The emphasis of this project is the mechanical part so easy electronic schematics without even part numbers is not a problem.

Hi Atheos,

You can try to fit a load cell somewhere in the construction. The solution to this is not easy, it depends a great deal on the mechanical construction. Some platforms that are hydraulically manoeuvred can sometimes be sensed with a pressure switch if allowed by the geometry.
