Hello, im new to this forum, so Hello all..
i have an idea to do, last night i lost my car key, so my idea was to do an chip that will show on the map where your key/packet or whatever is lost..
same as FindMyiPhone, just for other things. but the problem is
its required internet, or other technology systems to do it, anyone know a good way to do it?

Attach your keys to an iPhone. Problem solved!

It's not as silly a suggestion as it sounds. A device to do this would need to have most of the capabilities of an iphone (maybe it could go lighter on the screen and memory, but that's about it.

If you only wanted to have an approximate location, and one that was only available to law enforcement and the phone provider, any old phone would work as they can be roughly triangulated from their signal strength to several towers. But that won't get you closer than "somewhere near your house"
