Hi all.
New member hoping for an insight into a problem i am having.
Will probably be very trivial to you lot.
I am using a Pressure Sensor (this one http://www.ifm.com/products/gb/ds/PN5004.htm )
to control a solenoid valve.
The query i have is on the output from this device an how to get it operate a solenoid.
The way i have it wired up is that i have put the solenoid between the output terminal (4) and the -ve supply (3) but obviously the device is reporting short cct when the output goes +ve.
I had hoped it was a simple case of using the switched output to energise the solenoid but see now that this throws a SC error on the device.
What do i need to stop this from occurring, im guessing a relay cotrolled by the switched output but a relay that doesnt also throw a SC error.
