Problems
1. Through the VFD Frequency screen is a line. So sometimes when it displays a 0 it looks like a 8 because of the line.
2. There was a buzzing 60Hz noise coming from the speaker. Found out that some kind of design wierdness, the speaker is on top of the transformer. I unplugged the speaker and put a seperate DSP unit next to it.
3. There is a wire broken inside the unit. I use the connector cable to hold it down for the time being. Should I solder it? (Well, it's close to other things, and I'm not that skilled in soldering.
4. The external antenna jack's 'jack' is always turning. When I attach an antenna to the jack it always falls over. Any ideas for that?
5. (What do I do if the whole machine's falling apart? Aside from buying another scanner....)
