RC Frequency scanner.

Ive just started getting into RC cars but the crystals i got are common frequencys, how could i make a device that you colud plug in several crystals and it would check which ones were in use? Only needs a led to show transmissions recived.

Well, I use to run RC cars a lot some years ago. Here we have rules about the frequencies, every frequency has a colour and when you come to a track you put up your colour on the board as soon as you are ready to run. And every radio antenna has a flag with the colour corresponding to the frequency. This system is always used even on training days, if you switches on a radio without checking which frequency is in use and wreck someone

I know about the official rules and me and my m8s have made sure we got difff crystals but if im using a car park and some one close i want to know what freq hes running.
Alot of the locals dont use id cus they think its gay, but i just get very annoyed with them.

before i run my cars i want a gloryfied multi freq reciverto see which channels are in use.
