Hi guys Im creating another wind turbine generator do you have sample projects that you made yourselves? because Im having a hard time finding a schematic diagram for a wind turbine generator.

I just Googled "home built wind generator" and came up with enough reading to last a lifetime.

What motor should i use for me to charge a 12v battery?

You will probably need a motor that operates from greater than 12V. Also, since wind turbines are generally low RPM, you will either need a gearbox or to rewind the motor to generate higher power at low RPM.

rewind?? so i need to find a motor that is 12v higher?

Or you could use a boost converter if you get less than 12V from the turbine.

What voltage and amperage are you aiming to ? For what purpose ? Charging an automotive battery ?

Find a discarded thread mill and use its permanent magnet DC motor as generator. Run it at the highest rpm you can.
