Roland Amp Satellite Speaker problem

Hi. I have a Roland Amp that consists of a sub-woofer and two satellite speakers. The latter have their own separate channels. Recently one of the speakers stopped functioning properly in so far as you can hardly hear a sound coming from that speaker. It is very faint. I know the speaker works as does the lead so I guess the circuit board is at fault? Any help would be appreciated .

Thanks

Hello
We can help but it would be good if we could get hold of a circuit diagram and also some clear pictures of the PCB on both sides. What is the model number of the Amp.

Hi Adam, thanks for the reply it is appreciated. The amp is a Roland PM-30 I downloaded the manual which is too large to attach. I do attach the block diagram though, it might help?
I can take pictures of the board but it might be later in the week I'm afraid.

Hi icantread
welcome to Electronics Point :)

do those 2 satellite speakers plug into those 2 x speaker out sockets on the diagram between the woofer out and phones ?

and I'm assuming, other than the woofer, they are the only speakers ?

Hi Dave, yes I think so. I am about to post some images of the board if I can., Files are quite large.

I can't see anything obvious, is it just one channel that has stopped working? I guess you tried the speaker in both sockets?

Yes speakers and cables are both working. It's the right channel. If I turn the voume up to max with just the right speaker connected you can hear some very faint noise.

Where's the rest of the circuit boards? On the other side of the brown divider in the last picture with the wires going through it. Where do they connect?

We could do with a couple of pictures of the main amp PCB now. Nice pictures like before of both sides.

Sorry for the delay guys. It's not the easiest thing to take pictures of without taking the boards out. I will try to post some this week.

Thanks again for your time
