Rolling your own capacitors?

hey guys, i know this question is very unfeasable, but can you roll your own capacitors? i need a very large capacitor, a couple farads big, and up to around 150 volts. is it possible?

If I recall correctly, he was doing a project on making his own large capacitor.
I can't remember the out come though.

I'd relatively easy to make your own high voltage (we're talking multi-kV) at low capacitance (pF to very low nF).

but high capacitance is more difficult.
