Hello and thank you in advance. I have six LED lighted Christmas houses. Each one has four LED's in them. They are each powered by two AA batteries. I'd like to hard wire them using a wall wart. If I wire them in series what voltage requirement would I need? (18V?) I plan on using a regulated supply. Also, would a 1 amp supply be adequate?

Yes, 18V if in series theoretically.
But I would have them in parallel. Approximately 240mA total if they’re a typical 10mA or better, lower.
3 volt walwart (adapter) @ 300mA for a little head room.

If I read this correctly the leds are all operated in parallel ? Therefore each has a built-in R to balance
current ?

If each house runs on 3 V, series wiring would need 18 V, but that’s risky, one failure and all go out. It’s safer to wire them in parallel with a 3 V regulated supply. Six houses at ~50 mA each need ~300 mA, so a 1 A supply is plenty.
