How come i am receiving Spam with link referenced to a previous thread subject I answered to?
How did they obtain my email address?

Hello,

Is it real spam or a notification from the thread?
The forum system uses your email adress to sent you notifications, if you have enabled it.
You should not receive mails when to notification is turned off.

This was referring back to an old thread I had posted in.
The content of the email was spam with Co. name removed. quote:

Hello,

I have removed the post as spam.
It is possible that the post initiated a notification before I deleted the post.
There was indeed some of the text changed to a link in the post, also seen as hidden spam.
