Software to use sound card as crude ADC ?

Hi all,

I used to use Wave Studio (old sound blaster software) to log analog signals
from the sound card inputs to my computer. I connected an IR Rx that way and
I capture a lot of useful data.
I have WinXP now and it doesn't work. Can someone suggest a software that
will run in WinXP ? It should be able to show you the capture waveform (zoom
in/out as well)

I always used CoolEdit (now Adobe Audition). Works with XPpro like a charm.
You can zoom into time scale and sensitivity as much as you like.
