I'm after a source for low cost 2.8V (2 x D cell) halogen torch globes,
anyone know of any cheap source for these?
The ones I can find (eg, genuine Energizer replacement) are in the
order of $10 a go, and I need quite a few so am looking for a cheaper
source.
I might even be able to use a 4.8V version at a pinch if that's all I
can get.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.
Dave :)

Have you tried the 'cheap' shops like BiLo etc? But of course the
cheapies may not be of the same quality as the EverReady etc. Also, have
you tried an electrical wholesaler? They could order a boc in for you if
they dont carry them

** Those are just standard torch bulbs.

"Krypton" is a brand name.

Thanks Trevor.
Although as Phil said, they are just regular Kryton globes, I'm after
Halogen.

**Sorry 'bout that. My brain glossed over the 'halogen' part.
