so anyway linux does this nice thing where it partitions your drive into something that win 7 can't readily read. I read through a few posts and found a way (a freaking stupid way) to get rid of the issue..... then I clicked the wrong drive(actually 2 drive 2 terrabytes in total) and clicked format.... oh happy days for me lol
