I just replaced the drive belt on my 22-4 and everything works fine, except every tape that I have tried to play plays backwards . Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong ? Feel kind of stupid, never had this issue before.I know there is a way to remedy this, but right at this moment I'm totally lost. I would appreciate any feedback.

Its only been a hunnert years, since my eyeballing one of those .
Its BIG brother with full 10.5 inch reels turning , was quite an impressive sight.
Considering only one belt for the capstan motor to its flywheel and capstan drive shaft and 1 minor belt, which is for the
tape counter.
PLUS . . . .The feed and take up reels use their separate individual motor drives.
Have you heard the audio of a prerecorded tape, and what does it sound like.
After dropping/pulling off the PB/Record/Erase head covers escutcheon . . . . . for open visibility :
The unit has end of tape sensing via metallic tabs on the tape ends, will shorting a screwdriver across the right or left sensor contacts, reverse the capstan and feed reel / take up reel drive motors ?
