Tip? I looked in Google and it said what I guessed, British for "a place where trash is deposited". Some people over there put a swollen battery in the boot of a caw. They do not put it in salt wotah.

Where are you bancroft? Take it to your nearest tip/recycling centre and they will have a battery disposal bin/box where batteries are sorted and sent the the appropriate place.
