Hello everyone, whats up? As my first post on this fine forum I should proably introduce myself. My name is Ben. There you go.

I have one small question pretaining to the circuit schematic of "A small FM transmitter (SMD)". R3 is labeled 2k7. Is that supposed to be 27k, 2.7k, or is it some sort of electronics lingo that I have yet to learn about?

My condolinces if this question has already been asked. Thanks.

Hi Ben,
Welcome to our forum. ;D
Your schematic didn't get attached.
2k7 is the European way of saying 2.7k which is 2700 ohms. They use the letter of the multiplier as the decimal point in case the tiny decimal point isn't printed or copied.

Hey, thanks a lot. Thats a pretty cool way of doing the decimal, abit a little complacated when you start mixing the two.
