SAY . . . .How about pulling that cotter pin and making a photo of the frontal components.
Since, upon the arrival of the UGGGGHHHLEE! switch, it will require either the enlargement of that probable now 1/4 inch hole of its central shaft on up to either a 7/16hs or 1/2 in sizing.
Or bending back the 2 or 4 tabs (snap! DRATS! ! ! ! ! ! ! ) and then replacing with a different, accommodating and such drilled frontal plate.

de Edd, I will document the entire process, hows that sound. Still waiting on the switch. So.... start holding breath! No no don't actually DO that. lol.
