Hi
Today when I was looking at my TV Antenna mixer PCB, I saw that some of the
tracks have been made in a shape like Two Comb. you can see such shapes in
PC Motherboard's Tracks too.
What I guess is that they want the two tracks have a same condition like
Twisted Wires to remove the Common Mode Interference. Am I right?

Here's the picture

Hi Shahriar

I dont think so, i belive it is some kind of tuning cap or impedance matching, what is it on the other side of the PCB?

It looks like a cheap but very accurate low value capacitor. ;D

Dear Staigen

If you mean the Component side of PCB, In the Antenna Board, I should say nothing, but in PC motherboard, I should say I don't know because the Motherboard as you know is a 4 or more layer PCB.

Dear Audioguru

Maybe It is as you said.  ???

Hi

Of course i mean the TV Antenna mixer PCB, i hope the PC motherboard dont have something to do with your Antenna Board! ;D

I think you misunderstood my meaning, There is nothing on the Component side because it is a single layer board ;D

It's a small CAPACITOR.
I don't believe it's even a calculated one. It stands just to cancel verry small noise. Goes before active component so the noise doesn't get amplified to the level that effects signal quality.
Think of it as twisted pair, only on PCB level.

To be an inductor, it has to be single track in zig-zag, so it defenetly is NOT an INDUCTOR.

Bye.

zig-zag and straight traces are conductors, a short trace could be a tuned circuit shorted or open at the end it will form band pass or notch filter, this is probably a capacitor as stated before or it may as well be part a tuned circuit

I agree with boombar, it can't be an inductor because there is a separation between the conductors, and inductors are often spirals instead of zigzags.

It depends on frequency wether i'ts a straight line or spirals, a track looking like a single comb could theoretically be a stacked filter  ;D
