Transformer with square wave step dc primary input

Good Morning

If, in a properly built, HF capable, ideal transformer, with a one to one turns ratio, I input a 12volt dc step square wave at say 400hz with the secondary connected to a purely restrictive 100ohm load . What will the output at the load be like?

In particular will the Load see an AC or DC current through it?

A transformer cannot transfer DC, therefore the load cannot see DC.
To find out the waveform you can model the transformer's equivalent circuit and calculate (or simulate) the step response.
