Trying to identify two components help.

I’m trying to repair a pcb for a friend bu tv need to identify a couple of components that have been damaged. If anyone can help. Position U27. and U28

Without numbers it is difficult to assist, they appear to be mosfets maybe? may have to do a little reverse-engineering!

Hello minder when you say reverse engineering how do you mean
All I can tell you is that it works on 6v system and as far as I can see there are only the 3 components damaged I have not tested to see if the are giving continuity with my meter as yet and the only numbers visible are on the 3 pin mosfet but not complete number

These could be anything. Without readable inscriptions it is almost impossible to identify these components.
By reverse-engineering you would trace the componnets and the pcb traces and try to reconstruct the schematic diagram of at least this part of the pcb. One might then be able to at least get an idea of what kind of component this is /are.
Still a lot of guesswork would be involve.

Better options, if available:

1. try to find a service manual online with a schematic or at least a bill of material that identifies U27 and U28.
2. try to find a working unit of the same type where you can read the inscriptions on the defect chips.

You are aware that other components may be damaged without visible defects on the outside? It looks like these components overheated. Oftne the reason fpr this lies somewhere else on the pcb.

Yes I am aware but if I can find out what the devices are they cost pennies
