Ultrasonic cleaner

I have a project to develope an ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning fruits,vegetables,dishes and so on.
But I have no idea about this.
Could anyone help me on this?
A theory and schematic diagram will be a great help for me.

Hi phil7,
u can get quite a lot of  information about ultasinic cleaners on google. the basic theory  is that a piezo transducer is applied with a high frequency ( 30kHz-55kHz, that is why the word ultrasonics) signal. the piezo element vibrates with the applied frequency and these are coupled to the washing container. the oscillator output is usually applied to the peizo driver through a stepup transformer to obtain a high voltage drive. the piezo drivers are available commercially but keep in mind the encaplsulation of the system to prevent excessive noise and loss of effieciency. Use rubber washers to reduce the noise.

as far as the circuit is concerned ,
i cant directly help u and most of the companies manufacturing it have patents for it.
