Audioguru, is frb only for mono? or can it be used with a stereo coder? I'm going to check out for the parts involved in it....Hope I get it..

It requires 13.5Vdc ..... Won't a power supply from AC cause problems???

I don't know if a Free Radio Berkley FM transmitter can can have a stereo circuit added. It needs a flat bandwidth of at least to 53kHz for stereo.
You can easily make regulated 13.5VDC from a mains transformer without problems.

sir, I went to few stores near my house and was unable to find the ics except LF351......I will try again but aren't they easily available....r there any substitutes? ....

Buy the kit if it is still available.
It will have all the rare or obsolete ICs and odd sized coils and trimmer capacitors.

L2 is the main tuning coil so it better be made correctly. It is too bad that its consruction or value isn't given. The kit will include the coil.
That transmitter doesn't have pre-emphasis (treble boost like FM radio stations) so it won't sound good. Its optional stereo encoder might have pre-emphasis.
